Living in Art Launch

It's been a really, really, really, really x999 long time, since I've been on this platform, and we can only blame the 3rd year life. Lots of things has happened in between my absence, which includes piling up deadlines and the usual ugh-school-TTD, but something even bigger has happened. That is the birth of Living in Art.

So uh, yeah? What's the big deal? Well, Living in Art is a newly launched business created through a partnership with Bea (If you need a recap on who she is, she's the super talented typography artist!). We've got tons of products up, including phone cases, notebooks, totebags, stickers, and more to come. All these designed by yours(us) truly.

Here's a little peak of our photoshoot for Living in Art with our gorgeous models, Andrea Lim and Mara Lee.

We're also having a Christmas sale until December 21, 2014! Time to buy your gifts for family and friends for a discount.

Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for more updates.
See you soon!

To the Mountains

I know it's been a quite some time since I've updated this blog, but we can only blame school, right?
(Yes, always.)

In the middle of all the stressful workload, I managed to find some time to escape from reality and travel to the mountains (a.k.a. Tagaytay) for 3 days. Sadly, the weather did not cooperate with my schedule and rained 80% of the time, and I refuse to risk the chance of getting my camera wet. So, here are the not very sunny photos I took when it was not raining (which isn't a lot)!

I have to be honest. It wasn't the best decision I've made, since I ended up cramming all my requirements last minute, but the trip was so worth it.

Aside from taking scenery shots, I also found time to film and put together a short video, which was mainly for school, but also was also a really fun experience.

Sunlight after Rain

Who even checks the weather before deciding to do a last minute photo shoot?

Well, definitely not me despite continuously reminding myself every time I'm not planning a shoot. Unfortunately, my lack of habit has caught up with me once again (and I tell you this is not the first time), and the rain came pouring down a few minutes before the agreed time. So what do Keik and co. do in a situation like this? The usual. We get our butts on the laptop and with ALL CAPS smash the keyboard, screaming at each other on internet.

Luckily, the rain completely stopped after another 30 minutes. Despite the wet grass, wet slides and wet everything, it was worth it.

Bea x Keik Collaboration Announcement

I'm back with a collaboration project (one done and the other on-going) with the very talented typography artist, Bea Reyes!

Our very first collaboration is more personal and just-for-the-heck-of-it, combining photography x typography. We were able to finish this in less than a day; photo shoot in the afternoon and typography in the evening. Guess who has a new profile photo for Facebook now?

Photography by me and typography by Bea.

So currently, Bea and I are working on a super duper collaboration. This time, it won't be photography anymore, but an illustration x typography collaboration instead. We will be designing (greeting) cards, except instead of the greeting, it is going to be an inspirational message instead. The project is going to be a lot more serious now and will definitely take more time to finish as well. If everything goes well, we're thinking of selling them.

Here's a little teaser for you guys! Keep checking for more updates.
